  • Scissors (with the help of a grown-up)
  • Glue or tape

  • Anzac Biscuit Bag Printable (available on Teachers Pay Teachers website, download and print it out)

Step 1: Bake or purchase ANZAC Biscuits

Anzac biscuits have a rich history – they were baked during World War I by the wives and families of Australian and New Zealand soldiers. How about baking a batch of Anzac biscuits with a grown-up’s help to truly honour the tradition? Once your biscuits are baked and cooled, carefully place them in your decorated bag. Alternatively, you can purchase them from the grocery shop.

Step 2: Print this download

Print this download and get your colouring in pemcils ready.

Step 3: Decorate and Colour

Now it’s time to get creative! Grab your crayons, markers, or coloured pencils and add your own personal touch to the Anzac Biscuit Bag Printable. Standard army colours are green and brown.

Step 4: Cut and Glue Your Printable

With the help of a grown-up, carefully cut out the Anzac Biscuit Bag Printable. First, put some Anzac biscuits into the bag. Gently fold the top of your paper bag, creating a neat fold. This fold will keep your Anzac biscuits safe and sound inside your custom bag. Use glue or tape to attach the printable to your paper bag.

You’ve successfully crafted your very own Anzac Biscuit Bag. Now it’s time to gift it to a friend or family member.
